Souffleurs d'Ecume is a registered not-for-profit association for environmental conservation, with an emphasis on the scientific process (environmental engineering, applied ecology). Its main objective is maintaining cetacean populations in the Mediterranean at a favourable conservation status. To this end, the association develops projects focused on interactions between human activities and the ecosystem. Most of these projects are run as part of Pelagos Sanctuary operations (Franco-Italo-Monegasque agreement), in accordance with the ACCOBAMS Agreement and in partnership with the Nicolas Hulot Foundation.

Established in 2000, our qualified and multidisciplinary team specialises in the following areas:

Studies in applied ecology (impact studies, development of management and conservation tools)

Consultancy and training (ecological responsibility of human activities, professional training courses)

Education and public awareness (lectures for the general public, schools, and support for companies in their environmental commitments).
