The ID-Bio project (Nice Sophia Antipolis University) is designed to allow biology students to develop internet skills while working on a collaborative project. The aim of the project is to provide naturalists out in the field with useful resources for understanding the species, their environment, and the landscapes covered. Thus eventually this project will become a valuable internet resource for species identification.

SdE has contributed to the project by providing an online identification key for cetaceans, created by Jacky Oltra.
